How many menopausal women do you think have flushed there husbands viagra pills down the toilet because she's not quite as randy as he is with them.
Must make for a lot of sewer rats with hard dicks I bet.

| New shoes |
[29 Apr 2008|07:33pm] |
I picked out my new shoes at the RedWing store. The pair I picked out was in stock for my size. However the one pair they had in stock had a small tear on the side. So, my shoes are on order and I should have them next week.
Red Wing Oxfords is what I ended up getting.

Early today my brain created a song that was mostly it singing something to do with ad nauseam.
Now the tail end of the song "Ad nauseam... Ad nauseam... Ad nauseam" wont go away in my head. It's stuck like a bad penny, or a broken record, or a damaged mp3.

| My bed rocks my socks |
[11 Apr 2008|12:24pm] |
Last night the power went out thanks to a storm in the area. I expected it to come back on after a bit, but once we saw MLGW trucks across the way we figured we'd be without for a while. So, not being able to read or use the computer or TV, I headed to bed.
The power came back on about an hour later. The light turned on supposedly. Tad came and turned it off after I stayed under the light for half an hour or so. I slept right through a bright light right in my eyes.
Temperpedic mattresses are worth their weight in silver.

| UPS |
[09 Apr 2008|05:27pm] |
Grr. The house lost power a half hour ago. My computer stayed up, but my wireless dropped. The router in the computer room died thanks to a dead UPS.
Grr, Thing was only a decade old and on it's 2nd battery. I put a known good battery in it and it still wouldnt work...
What ever happened to people making good UPS's that live for decades to come? I bet in some rural area somewhere AT&T has a UPS that is older than me that still kicking along.

| Cops bust Teen "root-beer" kegger |
[31 Mar 2008|12:54pm] |

WAUSAU, Wis. - Cars lining the street. A house full of young people. A keg and drinking games inside. Police thought they had an underage boozing party on their hands. But though they made dozens of teens take breath tests, none tested positive for alcohol. That's because the keg contained root beer. The party was held by a high school student who wanted to show that teens don't always drink alcohol at their parties. It has gained fame on YouTube.com.

| Scratch one off the list |
[23 Mar 2008|06:29pm] |
I have a policy of trying anything once when it comes to food. I learned I love sushi through this policy.
Today, I tried chitterlings, and found out that what I try doesn't always yield tasty results.
They were better than expected, but not something I want to try. Erin, who had the chitterlings, even admitted she has to eat them with hot sauce. Supposedly these were good chitterlings by chitterling standards.

| Transformer |
[15 Mar 2008|01:00pm] |
Last night at around 5am there was this loud clap of thunder. I just rolled over, said the hell with it. A minute later Tad comes to my bedroom and tells me a Transformer is on fire across the way. So I get up and look. Yep. It's on fire. The power is on in our place, but it's dark on the otherside of the spillway.
I called MLGW and reported it while Tad was looking for his power bill so that he could call the emergency line. I just called Billing and pressed the option for "I'm on fire or I know someone/something on fire".
I reported it to the lady and she told me to call the fire dept. She couldn't give me the fire dept's number, so referred me to 911... I hate calling 911, but I did it anyways.
I told them where it was and during the call I told the dispatcher that it looked like it was actually going out. She sent someone anyways. Not 3-4 minutes later (GO Cordova Fire dept!!!) I saw red lights and the fire truck pulled up. I told them where the fire was, but had since gone out. They went scouting to make sure it was ok. I beat myself up for calling 911 and there not *currently* being an emergency.
Anyhow. I woke up at noon today. MLGW is out replacing the transformer. You can see them on the pole. Forgive my camera being shittier than a phone camera.

| Juno |
[12 Mar 2008|02:59am] |
My daily tasks for the day were: Eat some terrorist food at Kabob International... MmmmmHmm. If suicide bombers cook this good, why do they kill themselves ? Goto Marshalls and buy $114 in clothes. 3 pants and 2 shirts. Get a smoothie. Drop off clothes. Go see Juno, but on the way there be convinced I left the door unlocked -- so come home to find it locked. Go see Juno 2nd attempt. AWESOME Movie. I cried during the later part of the movie -- guess I'm emo like that. Goto Whiskers Wine and Spirits and get some chillable red that Bobbie seems to enjoy. Domino's is right next door, so I asked them for any reject/throwout pizzas. They didn't have any... Ate at sonic, since Domino's failed me. Came home with my box o'wine.
I've asked for reject pizza at Domino's 2-3 times in my history and never once have I got to enjoy some good old discounted messed up pizza... I have friends that have gone there and get it lickidy split. My luck I suppose.
Tomorrow... well, Today, is a special day for my boyfriend Ralph. I wish only that I was near him to cuddle up next to him. Keep him warm in the cool Milwaukee weather. I should get to see him soon, April maybe?
I think I need to learn how to meditate and clear my mind. It's all scattered a lot of time. My mind is like windows 95 that is trying it's damnest to pull off preemptive multitask, but in the just poops itself.

Whether it's Global Warming, Global Cooling, no one knows and it'll be argued until the next iceage and we're extinct. There is surely some kind Global-something happening.

| Talk about delay... |
[04 Mar 2008|03:27am] |
I have my credit union account setup to page me if a "large" transaction is made. I'm "poor" so a "large" transaction is >$100.
Today I got a page on my cell.. I had a over 100 charge happen. and I hadnt made any oddball charges. so I thought -- oh shit, identity theft!
I logged into my CU account and didnt see any activity out of the ordinary. Checked the text message more closely and it had been sent 1/28/08. whew...
But talk about a delay!

| Steak and Bono |
[28 Feb 2008|12:30am] |
Tonite Michael, Tad, and I joined together for a night of Buckley's steaks and U2 3D.The steak was one of the more awesome steaks I had, not as good as the time Ralph and I hit up Steak and Ale, but very good. Michael was the oddball, getting a 8oz filet to Tad and I's 14 oz huge-ass ribeye. My ribeye was cooked to perfection and needed no seasonings or extra "umph" to make it good.
After the steaks, we headed to Paradiso and saw U2 3D. Man! What a awesome show. There was one point in the film where Bono lit a fire and smoke came out. I swear to my god that I could smell the smoke. Michael and Tad didn't, but I promise you I did. I slipped out of reality for a bit and felt like I was really there, paying an arm and leg to see U2, when really I only coughed up $8-9 bucks, however much it is. (Tad paid for my ticket..)
Anyhow. worth a shot if you have a 3D capable theater nearby. A night out with friends was also something I needed.
