Postal system can't spell?

Postal Employees make pretty good money. I remember several years ago Jana saw a job posting for a mail sorter for $20/hour and that was a decade ago. If I remember right, she studied for the postal test before she decided it wasn't for her.

An ex coworker of mine started work as a relief rural carrier. She worked part time and made more than working full time at a helpdesk.

For $0.41/stamp, I expect a lot out of my postal carriers. Normally, I am impressed. Ive learned though that service has gone to hell over the past few years. I've lost a handful of letters and some bill payments. Mom and grandma have lost payments for their bills. Prior to a few years ago, I never lost mail, neither did my mom, grandma, or anyone else.

I like the idea of paying by mail. I have a peice of paper to prove it, rather than some line item entry on a batch settlement. Then again, if the usps is losing my mail, I have jack to show I paid it.

I'm a fan of the usps, but my confidence has dropped recently. Seeing the usps not even able to spell their own city name proves the direction they have been taking.

Pay though -- they make a good wage. Better than most. FedEx pays 11/hr to sort mail here in Memphis.

	I was funning you.. I know they pay $20 per hour. You have to have a perfect memory. Be able to remember names really really well..It is not just the postal service. There seems to be a general "Don't give a care attitude everywhere in recent years." It's a sign of the end times. (Reply to this)(Parent)
